Setting Up Email Software

All email accounts we host, regardless of the domain name, will use the following server settings. To use a secure connection, use the settings marked "SSL." The Email Software and Wireless Device support pages provide step-by-step instructions on how to install it on most of the popular software or devices currently available.

Server Type Server Name Port
POP3 pop.emailsrvr.com 110
IMAP imap.emailsrvr.com 143
SMTP smtp.emailsrvr.com 25, 587, or 8025
POP3 with SSL secure.emailsrvr.com 995
IMAP with SSL secure.emailsrvr.com 993
SMTP with SSL secure.emailsrvr.com 465, 587, or 8025

The most common and versatile setup from the above options is:

Server Type Server Name Port
POP3 pop.emailsrvr.com 110
SMTP smtp.emailsrvr.com 587

Outgoing servers require SMTP authentication. Microsoft Outlook users will need to manually enable this feature. For detailed instructions on how to configure your email desktop software, please visit our Email Software page.

Please note: When entering your User Name, please enter your entire email address (e.g., myname@mydomain.com). Also, please use all lowercase letters, as our email hosting system is case sensitive.
